Fall Workshops Announced!

GROW / HARVEST / DESIGN: THE LATE SUMMER GARDEN
September 24th, 2017
10am-5pm

Late summer is the season of abundance. Our Cutting Garden beds are spilling over into the garden’s pathways, as the flowers give their final push for the year before taking a long winter’s nap. Join Kelly Sullivan, owner and creative director of Botanique, for a day spent in the garden and the studio. We will spend the first part of the day in Botanique’s Cutting Garden, where Kelly will share insights into how to plan and care for flowers in the late summer garden. Participants will then be set loose in the garden with clippers and a bucket, and invited to cut flowers to use in their own arrangements.

After lunch, we will head into the studio, where Kelly will guide attendees in creating a gorgeous, seasonal arrangement in Botanique’s lush, natural, signature style, incorporating the flowers harvested earlier in the day. Participants will have ample time to create their own beautiful piece.

The last part of the day will be spent styling and photographing student work for portfolio and personal use, with one of Botanique’s preferred photographers.

Investment: $525 includes all materials, lunch, snacks and professional photography of your work.

This workshop is limited to seven students, and requires five students to run. Workshop is open to all levels.
THANKSGIVING CENTERPIECE + TABLE STYLING
November 21st, 2017
5:00-7:30pm

The holiday season is coming! Time to spruce up (or learn) some skills for designing and decorating your holiday table. Join Kelly Sullivan of Botanique for an evening in the studio, learning how to create a beautiful centerpiece and style a table. Kelly will share her approach to floral design, and each participant will create a beautiful centerpiece using seasonally-appropriate flowers. Following the design portion of the workshop, Kelly will demonstrate how to set and style a table using flowers and other design elements. Students will leave with a beautiful centerpiece to be enjoyed on their own Thanksgiving table, and the knowledge of how to style their flowers and other tabletop details to create a beautiful and cohesive look.

Investment: $275 includes all materials and light refreshments.

This workshop is limited to seven students, and requires five students to run. Workshop is open to all levels.
